The hosts Christine and Michael are very welcoming and speak very good German. If you have a problem you get help and information.

There is a small beach by the lake. The staff are friendly and helpful and speak good English. It is a little difficult to set up the caravan because the pitches are hardly recognizable. Markings would help a lot. There is no bread roll service, but there is a good bakery nearby. The store has the usual range for a campsite. We would come again.Automātiski tulkots.

Queuing in the morning when full.10 minutes to Maribo CityWe received a very friendly welcome in English and were able to choose a pitch from the only one still available. The ground is generally grass and rather uneven. Each pitch has two embedded paving slabs with the pitch number and the rear wheels are supposed to stand on these slabs.
The site is firmly... in Danish hands. (Germans under 10%)
Unfortunately, there are only very few pitches with a view of the lake. The "beach" is max. 25m wide and not really suitable for sunbathing. "Welan" is free of charge but can only be received to a limited extent. Showers are included in the price and barbecues with charcoal are permitted. The reception includes a small store for the essentials. Sanitary facilities are simple but CLEAN. The children could play on the small sandy beach by the lake. The kiosk had everything we needed. Flat and parceled-out meadow pitches, small sandy beach, well-equipped children's playground, park-like grounds in front of the site entrance, network of cycle paths, free WiFi. Very good and, at the time of our stay in the low season, clean... sanitary facilities, kiosk available for essentials. The location is convenient but quiet and there is a lot to see: Town, local museum. There is also a nice swimming area and very clean sanitary facilities, plus a practical V+E for motorhomes. The various parking options are very good, even for late arrivals, and the friendliness is remarkable. We will always come back for our short stops!Automātiski tulkots.

So you have to make a reservation here in the high season. Practically only locals on the site who all know each other generously, so not exactly quiet. Pitches were a bit small.
