This turned into three nights because we also visited the Christmas market in Freiburg. With the Konus Card, you can travel by train for free in the region. Niklas kindly brought it to our motorhome even though the reception... was closed. Thanks again for that. Otherwise, we can only highly recommend the site. Cleanliness is the top priority here. From our pitch, we had a great view of the Rhine plain all the way to the Vosges mountains. The sanitary facilities are tip top. I think it will be difficult to find anything comparable anywhere else. The site is divided into terraces... and some of the paths are very steep. You should know that. Due to the persistent rainfall during our stay, the pitch was a bit soggy. However, the caravan was on grass paving stones and the awning area was flattened and therefore always clean to walk on.
The catering was priced too high for us. It would be nice if there were dog parking spaces outside by the sanitary facilities. At least hooks to secure the leashes. We would like the dog shower to have an exhaust fan, because as the owner you are almost as wet as the dog when you are bathing, as the door has to be closed during this time. It would also have been nice for us if there had been a drying room for the bathing clothes and towels. The existing racks are too small and always full. The swimming pool was great. It was also great to be able to go straight to the reserved pitch and then register later.
