    Small but nice
Small but very nice campsite. Access from the south directly in front of the tunnel portal, coming from the north very sharp turn on the opposite lane.
There is also a sharp bend at the site itself, but it is also drivable with a large motorhome. Sanitary facilities very clean, although a bit outdated....

Great, rustic campsite with narrow pitches
A really rustic campsite in a small, rather narrow bay 5 km west of Almeria. The valley is crossed by several bridges, but you can't hear the traffic at all on the front pitches "before the first bridge", just the sound of the sea. You have the bay with its pebble beach to yourself. The sanitary facilities...

Preference is given to boozing English long-term campers
English long-term campers who drink are preferred. After 4 days we left the campsite exasperated, the shower was out of order the whole time

    Excellent site
Ideally situated a few minutes drive from the city of Almeria and the town of Aguadulce. Several winters spent there in lovely sunshine. Probably the best climate in Europe. Friendly staff, family atmosphere, good bar with food. In a quiet cove with the sea literally only a few metres from the pitches. I wholeheartedly recommend the site.

    Right by the sea
The pitch is outdated and offers hardly any shade. Sanitary facilities at the end. Too bad - could actually be a great place in a beautiful bay. You would have to invest something. Ok for one night.

    Very run down
Used the site as a staging area in March. The whole site is run down and there is garbage everywhere. There are even lots of leaves and small branches in the sanitary facilities. Hopefully this will change in the high season

    Supert petit camping
Beautiful campsite, very quiet and shaded, directly on the beach in a small cove, 5 min from Almeria. With a very good restaurant and all managed by a super friendly team. Thank you for this vacation!!! I'm trying to write it in Spanish!!! : Guapo camping, muy tranquilo y con sombra. Es directamente...

    It has become 2 days.
Friendly reception and good English. Sanitary facilities are in order (have been brought?). They are cleaned well, but unfortunately not 100%. There are no shelves in the shower, if there are hooks, they are too wide. They don't speak a word of English in the restaurant, but the food is good. Only a few meters to the beach is a luxury that is very rare. All in all, the place is well looked after.

    Location saves it!
The campsite is quite run down - which I don't mind too much, as long as the facilities are clean. The location is perfect if you like the beach. The staff is VERY friendly. If you go with a tent it is impossible to anchor it on the ground, it is very rocky. So you have to look for a spot on the beach,...

Ok for one night but otherwise hands off
The sanitary facilities are a mess. There are no mosaic tiles on the floor in the showers so that you cut your feet open. There are no water connections on any of the pitches. Everything is outdated and not renovated. The operators are 4 siblings. We speak fluent Spanish and spoke to one person. The costs to renovate everything are too high. The bungalows are on the other side of the river bed. They are in an unacceptable condition.

    SMALL HIPPY TYPE SITE
Very small pitches suitable for tents or VW small camping car, very old facilities, stoney beach, very expensive rates ,for a very poor campsite.

Only 1 night. Treetops too low for our Womo. The sanitary facilities are in need of renovation. Location directly by the sea is interesting and quiet. Ideal for water enthusiasts. To visit Almeria and the Alcazaba, which is worth seeing, there is a 24-hour paid parking space at the harbor.

We came across this site by accident. It is set in a beautiful little cove with the Med lapping the shore mere metres from the pitches. We did find the tent pitches quite hard and I had trouble getting pegs in. There are several pitches for medium sized motorhomes and caravans, with all the usual facilities....

I found the site quite overpriced at 22 euros (tent) in October. Especially as it has nothing to offer. The sanitary facilities are outdated and partly rusty. The staff, especially in the restaurant, were very unfriendly. I was glad to be able to leave again.

We are of course very sorry if you were not satisfied with our offer and would be delighted if we could convince you of the opposite again. We have been running this campsite since 1957 and thousands of visitors return every year. This fact speaks for itself.

Our campsite has a lot to offer guests who...

The small, two-part site is located at the end of a valley incision and ends directly in a small bay called "La Garrofa", from which it takes its name. The pitches are sheltered by matting roofs and some are protected by old trees. The old coastal road crosses the site via a viaduct. The new busy road...
