The nearby military area was only audible on 4 days in 3 weeks due to shooting exercises. The pitches are large enough and have plenty of space between them and the neighbors. Only the maintenance of the pitches should be a little more careful. We first removed broken branches,... lots of leaves and dead plants on arrival. There is a lot of building going on at the campsite. New mobile homes are being erected and excavation work is being carried out for cable ducts. A sanitary building was also completely renovated. The free-roaming llamas on the site were something special. The smell that some campers complained about emanating from them is probably only a problem for sensitive city noses. All in all, we had a very nice vacation on the campsite. One final comment: I don't understand why you would go to a naturist campsite and walk around clothed for 14 days. Walking around naked on a textile site would be unthinkable. Only on 3 days a week was the military active during the day in the adjacent training area. The pitches are spacious and largely unspoiled. Peaceful and quiet llamas are an enrichment, but we never encountered them in the toilets... :) It never smelled like llamas either. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice and quiet place. We were there with a large caravan (8x2.50m plus awning and had plenty of space to the neighbors. Highly recommended for naturists. Pitches also right on the beach. Friendly staff and we were greeted with an espresso at 10.00 in the morning. Our pitch (228) was large enough to comfortably accommodate our caravan (8 x 2.5) with awning plus car without feeling claustrophobic. The pitches are not laid out with clear boundaries.... We love campsites like this! One electricity column (10 amp. fused, to be paid separately and at a flat rate) is calculated for four pitches. Fresh water is distributed throughout the campsite. The nearest sanitary facility for us is built on a dune between the campsite and the sea. It is of French standard. But clean. The W-LAN reception was good on our pitch. It can be purchased for various large download/upload bites. The camping store is expensive and poorly equipped in June. We realize that such stores are always a bit more expensive than large department stores. But the fact that a liter of milk, for example, costs 3.10 euros is a bit hefty. We enjoyed our two-week vacation at this campsite! A very large and spacious site, there are pitches directly on the beach or in the hinterland.
Two trails adjacent to the campsite are great for long walks, jogging or mountain biking.
Apart from the weekday practice sessions of the oversized shooting club on the neighboring site to the north,... it is wonderfully quiet, especially at night.
The sanitary facilities are very clean.
But:
The operator(s) probably always have great ideas for new projects that are effective for advertising, but the execution is then stuck, it is only half-hearted, not to mention maintenance. Furthermore, the focus is obviously on package tourists in huts - the camping area is clearly being run "on wear and tear", repairs remain undone. The area is also not "natural", but simply neglected and unkempt. Whether it bothers you personally or not, four-star campsites in this price category look different.
The beach is dirty and run-down, which is not least due to the hotel's own "coastal protection measures". However, the advertised "fine, endlessly long sandy beach" is no longer very good, as the army rigorously cordons off the northern part from Monday to Friday until late in the evening, at least in the low season, even if they are only practising with light weapons. Well, that's not the CP's fault. However, the sand had not been cleaned for some time during our stay.
The reception staff are superficially friendly, but largely disinterested.
The prices for WLAN access (volume tariff) are outrageous.
The small store on the square is actually superfluous - either
It either has no bread or no more bread, depending on whether you are there at eight o'clock sharp or ten minutes past eight. The rest of the food on offer, especially fresh food, is hardly suitable to cover your daily needs, so you have to go to an outside supermarket anyway.
From the brochure: really great CO² - neutral hot water preparation! Well, the CO² avoidance is primarily due to the fact that, as a rule, no hot water is produced. Unproblematic in summer, but rather brrrrrrrr...... in fall.

The emphasis here is on natural, and anyone who visits the site with this knowledge will look at it differently than someone who compares it with the high expectations and standard of, say, an Italian site. The accommodation is not necessarily the best,... but it meets French standards, which are significantly lower than those of a German campsite. You also have to take that into account. The camping area is extensive, some of the pitches are only roughly marked out, you can choose where you want to pitch in the low season, a long power supply cable >50m is advisable, but you can borrow an extension at reception at any time if it is still too short. Yes, in the early and late season there can be noise and restrictions due to the nearby military training area. Yes, if you know it, you can postpone your stay and feel disturbed to the high season, because between the beginning of June and September 15th the French army does not do any exercises. For half the price this would have been fine. The location and the beach are brilliant, it could hardly be better.
