Stayed there for one night with the caravan in the night season, very good proximity to the cape.
Perfect as an alternative if you don't want to stay overnight at the Cape.

Perfect location. Easy to reach from the village access road, but away from the main road. Just start hiking
Perfect base camp for excursions to the North Cape
Stayed here for three days, in pouring rain and bright sunshine. Wonderful location, view of the North Cape and the midnight sun from the mountain at the campsite. Very friendly team. Cozy restaurant with breakfast, coffee & cake, pizza and snacks, and a few souvenirs. Kitchen for self-catering with separate dining room. Showers and toilets were clean and tidy at all times. If we ever come to the North Cape again: only here!

Also known as "Kirkeporten Camping".
Beautifully situated site with approx. 40 pitches on a lake. We received a very friendly welcome in English. The pitches are allocated, but special requests are taken into account. The ground is either grass or gravel. A meadow on a small headland is available for tents (see photos). We were here for... 4 days in mid-June. The site was already very busy, or at least fully occupied on 1 day. We paid NOK 335 for a motorhome with 2 people including electricity. Showers and wifi were free. There is no supermarket in the nearby fishing village of Skarsvåg and it is 25 km to Honningsvåg. You can get bread rolls from 8am at the reception. The reindeer walk right across the campsite.

We spent a few days at the campsite on the edge of Skarsväg during our trip to Nordkapp in mid-June 2018. The site is only 14 kilometers from Nordkapp and the owner pays for it. It should be mentioned that electricity was included in the price. The staff are friendly and courteous at all times. The sanitary... facilities are very clean. Washing machine and dryer are available, but cost 40 crowns each. In the restaurant, which belongs to the campsite, you can eat very well and also have breakfast. We ate a king grap and salmon fillet as well as a fish soup and can recommend everything with a clear conscience. If you like fishing, you can try your luck in Skarsväg in the Barents Sea.

Comfort on the northernmost campsite in the world
Very friendly welcome at the reception, a very cozy cabin almost at the North Cape. Separate bedroom with bunk bed and a double bunk bed in the living room and a bathroom with shower. Comfortably furnished, about 20-30 minutes over the mountain to the Kirkeporten rock. The breakfast buffet is highly recommended (approx. 17,-- €) very rich and good. Not too expensive for the North Cape region in my opinion.

Best place at the North Cape
Only about 14 km from the North Cape on a small lake. Ideal starting point for hikes in the North Cape region and of course to the North Cape itself. Friendly welcome at the reception. Pitches for campers on hardstanding with electricity connections. Free WiFi throughout the site. There are 6 showers... and toilets for men and the same number for women in the sanitary block in the main building. Small communal kitchen with heated lounge. Breakfast and evening meals are available.

The most northerly campsite in the world. Ideal when visiting the Nordcap. The reindeer visit you on the campsite. Friendly receptionist at the reception. Pitches with electricity. W-Lan throughout the site. Breakfast is even provided. At the equivalent of 24.50 euros per day, nobody can complain. The site is recommended,

Very nice place, clean sanitary facilities, great sunset and reindeer in the morning, we can only recommend the northernmost campsite in the world (about 30km to Nordkapp) and camp here again anytime.

Very nice campsite near the North Cape, directly on the lake
In our opinion, this is the best campsite up here in the far north near the North Cape. A small, cozy site with gravelled pitches or on grass. There is a road nearby, but it doesn't bother you at all as there is hardly any traffic. The road to the North Cape branches off before it. Absolutely quiet and... located directly on the lake. From the campsite you can walk directly to the Kirkeporten rock gate. The sanitary facilities are simple but absolutely clean. There is a nice lounge and a sauna is under construction. Reindeer visit the campsite every day.

As already mentioned, well suited as a base camp for the North Cape. The owners are very nice and accommodating. Delicious cuisine. WLAN available. We rented a cabin, which was very spacious, but the heating was very weak. Unfortunately, the sanitary facilities were also not heated or very poorly heated.... If you're afraid of reindeer, you shouldn't camp in a tent, as they graze peacefully all over the site :) Exploration tip: don't just go to the North Cape, visit the little town too!

If you're going to the North Cape, it's a great place to spend the night. There are cabins if the weather is too bad. They serve a very nice reindeer dish. The surrounding mountains are well marked with sticks up to the church hole and the fishing port is worth a visit. Imagine krapper so big that they can't fit on a plate.

Exclusive location ("northernmost campsite in the world"). Unfortunately it rained all the time during our stay. The site manager was very nice, food - well, the sanitary facilities were nice and warm. You can't expect much comfort in these parts.

For this expensive corner of the world an ideal place for the last jump to the North Cape. Very friendly service, sanitary facilities io and everything worked. There was even internet. The only small negative point was that I forgot to return the Swedish camping card after paying, and I didn't even think about it because I rarely had to hand it in until then. My bad luck, but it was sent back to me immediately after an e-mail Thank you very much
