"schön am Fluss, für Wohnwagen ungeeignet - die Pläte sind für Wohnwagen zu klein. das Zugfahrzeug hat keinen Platz mehr und kostet nochmals soviel wie ein camper.

"Lima Escape já foi bom. Agora é mediano ou fraco!!! - O atendimento na recepção é fraco. O restaurante Adega do Artur sito no parque foi desactivado. O funcionamento do snack bar é fraquíssimo. Lento e privilegia-se os turistas... estrangeiros. Eu e minha mulher, tivemos de ser rudes e agressivos com um funcionário e... abandonamos logo o acampamento... não só pelo péssimo atendimento, como pelo excesso de insectos (melgas, mosquitos, vespas, etc). Deficiente higiene ou descuido dos utentes? As ruas do acampamento não são varridas, nem limpas. Muitas árvores não apresentam os devidas condições de segurança. Basta uma volta pelo parque para vermos situações que podem colocar em causa a segurança dos campistas! O silêncio nocturno não é respeitado. O livro de reclamações encontra-se bem preenchido. O parque já foi considerado um dos melhores da Europa. Neste momento é uma nódoa. Um parque a evitar!!!

"Natuur - Verscholen in bomenrij gebied. Stilte & rust (mug meimaand = H.Mariamaand!). Uitgestrekt natuurgebied wandelen, meerdaagse tochten, MTB. Ponte da Barca op 6 à 7 km voor inkopen; tof stadje met lekkere bakkers, prima eetgelegenheden. Ponte de Lima, +/- 25km, relatief grote stad met "alles erop en eraan"! Sanitair is prima!

""Ein Hauch von Schweden" in Portugal - Sehr schöner und ruhig gelegener CP. Wir standen hier "leider" nur für eine Nacht. Natur pur... die Stellplätze befinden sich mitten im Wald. Sanitäranlagen sind auf einem technisch sehr gutem Stand. Die Sauberkeit war zu jederzeit gegeben. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis geht völlig in Ordnung

Profil

Lima Escape is what estate agents would call ‘wonderfully appointed’. Nestled on the western-edge of Peneda-Gerês National Park (also known simply as Gerês), where 70,000 hectares of vast, amphitheatre-shaped space wows visitors each year with its deep river valleys, colossal …peaks, and magical forests of oak and sweet-scented pine. With so much exploring to be done, you’ll need a campsite close-by where you can sleep off that sweet hiker's fatigue. Thankfully Lima Escape ticks that box and many more... The site is huge (there’s capacity for 400 campers), yet it seems to maintain an intimate atmosphere whilst still showing off the site's vast, spectacular natural beauty. And what natural beauty there is. Pitching up in lush woodlands, surrounded by oak and pine trees, whilst the River Lima snakes its way nearby is a real pleasure for even the most seasoned camper. When the torches are switched off, and all you hear is the wind in the trees and the patter of weaving water, you realise Lima Escape is a bona fide camping nirvana. One thing’s for sure, you won’t get bored. If you’re an enthusiastic rambler, you’ll love the surrounding mountains which offer a multitude of high-elevation paths and mountain biking treks, with views to knock your socks off. Gerês (Portugal’s major National Park) is spread across four dramatic granite peaks, and is especially popular with hikers in April and May when it’s twisting trails bloom with wildflowers.

From Porto airport: join the A3 highway and travel 75km in the direction of Braga/Valença. After passing Vila Verde, drive another 10km and take the 12 exit to Ponte de Lima. After the paying point you have to pass the …ring road, taking the 2nd exit (Ponte da Barca, Arcos de Valdevez) to the highway IC28. After 15km you will pass the exit to Arcos de Valdevez and a bridge over the river Lima, there on the ring road take the 2nd exit to Lindoso. After 10km you will see the sign ‘Ambos-os-Rios’, pass the bridge and turn left on the crossroad in front of the sign ‘Parque de Campismo’ and a place card of ‘Lima Escape.' The sites entrance is only 30m after that. Public transport: There is an everyday shuttle bus from the Porto airport to Ponte de Barca (more information at site: http://www.barquense.pt) where you can catch the other bus to Lindoso which stops 20 meters from the camping site (Entre Ambos-os-Rios), take a taxi (it´s about 10-12 euros from village to camping site) or contact the camping site to pick you up.
