During our stay, more vacation homes were being built. The actual camping area only takes up a subordinate part of the site. The site is ideal for visiting Rotterdam, the Europoot or The Hague. The campsite staff are very friendly and... the pitches are large enough. The beach is also just a short walk away. The sanitary facilities are sanitary containers. They are probably quite new and were clean during our stay. I only had one shower where the water didn't drain at all. By the time I noticed this, I had already flooded the shower cubicle clean. There is a bread roll service at the site (the rolls are delivered to the pitch). The access to the site (public road) is borderline narrow. Overall, a very recommendable place to spend a short vacation.Automaticky preložené.

The restaurant closes surprisingly early.Central campsite for visits to Rotterdam and the surrounding areaNice campsite situated close to the beach (approx. 500m as the crow flies) and close to the town of Huek van Holland. Suitable as a central starting point for visits to Rotterdem, The Hague, Kinderdijk and Delft. The facilities on the site can be described as fairly basic. The price/performance ratio is therefore not balanced. We paid a good EUR 45 / day for a pitch, 2 adults and 2 children in August 2015.Automaticky preložené.

Sebastian R.May 2013The campsite is more of a "vacation village" with bungalows, rental chalets and rental cabins. However, there are still 25 pitches for caravans, motorhomes and tents. If you're lucky, you'll get a pitch by a small (man-made!?) stream that runs right alongside the site. The pitches are huge and there... is fresh water, waste water, electricity (16A) and even a TV connection. The walk to the beach is not far, about 5-10 minutes on foot (depending on walking speed and wind!) The surroundings themselves were not my cup of tea, but this may have been due to the somewhat dreary weather. A bus near the campsite (approx. 5 min) takes you quite quickly to the nearest towns (Hoek van Holland, 's-Gravenzande, Monster, or even to The Hague). Definitely recommended for a short trip.Automaticky preložené.
