Beautifully situated on a lake
We liked the place all round. The reception was very friendly. The pitches are right on the shore of the idyllic lake. The sanitary facilities are simple but very clean. The whole site makes a well-kept impression.

Relaxing stay
After visiting Santaclause Village above Rovaniemi, we discovered this campsite. Karvalan Camping has 9 rental cabins, a tent pitch and 12 motorhome/caravan pitches with electricity, there are also other pitches without electricity. The pitches are located directly on a beautiful lake. Canoes and boats... can be used free of charge. The facilities for children are also great, with a children's playground, a small water slide, a pendulum raft and the wonderful natural surroundings! The barbecue house is also available for free use. The sanitary facilities are rather basic, but clean. You can hear the nearby road, but it doesn't disturb you. We really liked this site and enjoyed the closeness to nature by the lake/forest. After midnight, when the air temperature got colder, a mystical mist drifted over the lake, a wonderful sight. We therefore stayed for four days and for us it was the most beautiful campsite we have visited in Finland. Absolutely recommended. Repeat factor 100%

Located on the lake. Rowing boats and canoes are available for use free of charge. You can fish here and barbecue huts are available for use. There are plenty of pitches for motorhomes and cabins. Further information: www.wiese-mobil.de
