Quiet campsite in a beautiful valley
The drive to Eremitsu leads through beautiful countryside. The village itself is small but has 2 restaurants and small shops. The owners (Attila and Anja) are very friendly and helpful. The pitch is large enough so that you don't have to get too close to each other (we were the only guests for 3 days).... You can barbecue in a large shelter by the river and light a campfire in front of it. The sanitary facilities are adequate and very clean. Attila also offers safari tours with an old AL28 and 2 Unimogs (highly recommended), where he can tell you lots of interesting facts about the area. If he ever has time, ask him about his hobby and whether you can have a look in his workshop (more will not be revealed :-) Despite the bad weather, we spent 3 wonderful days there, which were certainly not the last.
