Place with sandy beach directly on the Baltic Sea
After an adventurous drive from Söderköping along narrow country roads, with a detour to Segersgärde, we are rewarded by the view of the small town of Västervik. On the onward journey to our destination of Oskarshamn, we visit the old farm settlement of "Stansjö", which is well worth seeing. The settlement... was first mentioned in 1351, some of the houses are still in their original state and some have been faithfully restored. The settlement is inhabited and farmed by a farmer, faithfully restored. Camping acceptable, sanitary facilities superb, pitches partly small, uneven. Beautiful sandy beach.

Very nice view directly onto the Baltic Sea. Seats in the front row are for vacationers. Everyone is very friendly.
Negativno
No stores at the campsite. When we were there the local school had a sports festival on the beach, so a bit noisy, but everyone was nice.
A simple campsite right on the Baltic Sea
This campsite is located directly on the Baltic Sea in Oskarshamn. There is only a wide footpath between the campsite and the beach. However, this is also used by schoolchildren on their way to school. The wash house is simple with 5 toilets and 2 showers. The showers are in a separate room but only... separated by a curtain. There is a road behind the campsite, but you can't hear anything at night. If you go under the road bridge you come to a forest. In this forest there are 3 hiking trails of different lengths with some exercise equipment. The paths are illuminated in the dark.
