I was very happy my wife convinced me to only stay 2 nights instead of the planned 3, we had to pay before entering and I doubt they would have refunded had we chosen to leave before time. Prices are relatively high for Slovakia an the camp site is not very organized, there are... no parcels for campers just a few large pastures where you put your tent or caravan wherever you like. Sanitary facilities were very basic, one block of toilets were even closed although the campsite was full. The toilets and showers that were open were in containers, toilets often lacked cleaning and/or paper. You pay quite a premium for electricity, but nobody is checking if you paid and the electricity is not locked away (it's out in the open), so you could probably get away with not paying. Depending on where you find a free spot, electricity might be far away (+30m). The 23:00 silence wasn't really respected and often the noise continued until at least midnight even though the guard did do a round to check. I wouldn't recommend the site for light sleepers. I think my wife didn't feel safe at night, at least she never wanted to go to the toilets alone, this hasn't been an issue in other camp sites so far! Pretty much the only thing this camping has to offer is the location close to the Liptov lake, I hope they develop this region more touristically because it has a lot of potential and there are not really many alternatives to Mara Camping unless you want to stay far away from the lake.Automatski prevedeno.

Nearby store and pizzeria.NegativnoBoth the campground and the parking lot are sometimes crowded. The toilets lack locks.Unearthly views!Caution on getting there, navigation can be deceiving. The campground in July was full. We managed to find a vast grassy tent site with no one in it. After a few days, other amateur campers began to join us. Toilets in the center, reasonably clean, but the equipment's glory days are behind them. No locks... on the toilets. Available kitchen with working contacts. In the campground you can eat something, drink beer. The views are the biggest advantage, the lake and mountains in the background give motivation and joy for months.Automatski prevedeno.

If you manage to get away from the water without the belt (it was left in the caravan), you will have to argue with the staff at the gatehouse. Some stands and attractions... are closed mid-season. Only the main assembly area is open with exorbitant prices. Restrooms built from construction cells contain minimal toilets. No toilet paper, of course, but at other times it overflows again from a full toilet. Very disappointingDisappointingIf you prefer to stay in the countryside, this site does not offer that. It is surrounded by cabins, guesthouses and hotels. Bring your own toilet paper. You'll have to be lucky for hot water. Sanitation remembers the last five years and Husák. There's no shop in the campsite, the bistros are overpriced... and they can't even make langos. There's plenty of bikers in the camp. Sometimes they make noise, sometimes less. You can tell the poor people who visit the camp by the armband you have to wear under penalty of death for the rest of your life. If you're already staying, ask where the electricity is out. They won't tell you themselves. We didn't mind that some of the lamps weren't lit.Automatski prevedeno.

First of all, they are really too few for a campsite of this size, in the morning you had to stand in a long queue, when you got to the end of the... queue you had to wash under cold water, and what was even more annoying was that there was nowhere to put things and rubles, there wasn't even the smallest hook for hanging them up, you had to put them just on the floor, which wasn't particularly heavy. The only plus point is the beautiful location and the lake. I also noticed that the toilet is equipped with a potty and a special toilet cover for small children, which is a plus for those travelling with small children (although we take these things for our child when we travel)Automatski prevedeno.

Division of the camp into family and juvenileI imagined more from the camp of the yearEven the helpful staff couldn't save it. We mostly just camp for the night. Otherwise, we travel around and come back in the evening. In the evening, there was only lukewarm water. You can only catch wifi within 10m of the toilets. The toilets are covered with poulam so we experienced that 10 years ago.... And we can't talk about nighttime quiet. If this was the camp of 2013, I don't want to see the others. For the price of 25 Euros and sleeping in a tent we have a nice apartment in the Czech Republic. And for the price of 9 Euros you have a rented El boat in the Alps in Austria and not a pedal boat and I think that the salaries in Austria are different than in Slovakia. And I'd probably divide the camp into those who want to grill. For someone to grill in the morning at noon and in the evening is a bit too much.Automatski prevedeno.
Huňáček P.August 2014Pozitivno- location and surrounding nature - friendly and helpful reception staffNegativno- noise - dirt - insufficient care of sanitary facilities - exorbitant prices in some buffetsQuite disappointing :(Under the impression that this is the camp of 2013, we expected much more and were happy to visit the camp. We were only there for one night and were even more excited to leave the campground. It is very far from quiet here and you have to take into account the incredible noise, I would not be afraid... of the word "brothel", which is there during the night hours. If you want to sleep in peace, I definitely do not recommend this place, even earplugs did not help. This place is also far from a clean environment and from about 8 o'clock in the evening nobody bothers to clean the sanitary facilities and it looks like that, not to mention the morning vomit in the sinks and toilets. The surroundings of the campsite and Liptovská Mara itself are fine. However, the camp beach is littered with rubbish, cigarette butts, dog excrements, plastic bags, etc., nothing idyllic and attractive. Prices at the local stalls and buffets vary from a thieving €2.40 for a small portion of chips, which will only irritate your stomach, not fill you up, to €6 for a 560g pizza, which will feed two people just fine. The same goes for drinks - some places will try to stretch you and rip you off, others will get you a solid penny. The staff at the reception is friendly and cool, which, apart from the surrounding nature, is probably the only positive of this place, otherwise it's not worth much and we definitely know we'll avoid this place next time.Automatski prevedeno.

Different fom advertising on website, there is no convenience store, the fast food and... even the beer at the snack bars is awful and expensive. However, staff is friendly and lake and scenery are very nice. Especially with regard to the price/benefit ratio (> 20 € for family with tent) I can't recommend this site.Automatski prevedeno.
