"Näher dran geht nicht... - Ganz toller Campingplatz direkt am Fluss und Wasserfall. Familiär und nett geführt, klein übersichlich mit gutem Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge, Wanderungen etc. Ab Platz kann man sehr schön auf kleinen Wegen am Fluss und den Stromschnellen und Wasserfall entlanglaufen, leider müssen auch alle Touris, die zum Wasserfall wollen über den Platz. Das ist aber schon das einzig negative. Wir standen direkt am Fluss, es rauscht schon ordentlich ;-) Sanitar ist mit Code, klein und immer sauber. Der Platz ist klein und übersichtlich mit einem kleinen Spielplatz. Wir waren im August zur Mittagszeit dort und konnten uns zu der Zeit noch einen Stellplatz frei aussuchen, gegen nachmittag wurde es voller, der Platz war dann zu ca. 90% voll. Neben Stellplätzen gibt es auch ein paar kleine Miethütten. Es gibt einige Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der Nähe. Are auf den Berg zum Wander, unbedingt zum Tännforsen, der war landschaftlich fast noch schöner wie der Ristfalljät, Östersund etc.

"Herbstcamping - Wir waren mit zwei Dauercampern die einzigen am Platz, dies liegt auch mitunter an der Jahreszeit (waren vom 7.10-910.19 dort) Im Servicehaus ist alles wichtige vorhanden (Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowellen,Ceranfeld+Backofen und WaMa, sowie ein Trockner). Die Sanitäternanlagen waren sauber, mir fehlte aber irgendwie im Herrenabteil die Urinale. Ist vll meckern auf hohem Niveau. Warmduschen und WiFi ist im Preis miteinbegriffen. Fazit: ein kleiner überschaubarer Platz zum Abschalten und Entspannen direkt am Wasserfall.

"fijne kleine camping naast grote waterval,500 m vanaf E 14 - Pracht omgeving wandelen naast grote waterval en route Pelgrim pad. mooi eenvoudig restaurant met prachtig uitzicht en fijne behulpzame N.L.eigenaars.goed schoon en verwarmd sanitair gebouw.

" - Phantastisch gelegener, kleiner, gepflegter und gemütlicher Platz direkt am Ristafallet. Das Betreiberehepaar ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Die kleinen Sanitäreinrichtungen waren sehr sauber, wurden mehrmals täglich gereinigt. Warmduschen kostenlos. Der Platz war der ideale Ausgangspunkt für unsere Ausflüge und Treckingtouren ins Valadalen und die Fjälls rund um Are. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Sicherlich nicht das letzte Mal, dass wir dort waren!

Ristafallet Camping en Lunchroom is gelegen naast de Ristafallet waterval. Deze waterval, in het westen van Jämtland, behoort tot een van de mooiste van Zweden en is vanaf het campingterrein te zien. Het water valt 50 meter breed en 14 …meter diep omlaag langs een aantal rotsen. Wanneer u kampeert op Ristafallet camping voelt u zich dicht bij de natuur, u wandelt vanaf de camping langs de waterval het oerbos in en kunt zich laten verassen door het natuurschoon zoals enkel Jämtland u te bieden heeft. Het camping terrein telt 25 kampeerplaatsen waarvan de meeste zijn voorzien van electra. Het service gebouw bied naast de sanitaire facaliteiten ook een kookgelegenheid met zitplaatsen en is voorzien van babysanitair.

Ristafallet Camping and Restaurant is situated next to the waterfall Ristafallet. Coördinates: 63º18'45"N,13º20'49"E This waterfall in the western part of Jämtland is listed as one of the most beautifull waterfalls in Sweden. You can see the waterfall from the campsite. …The water falls 50 meters wide and 14 meters deep down along some rocks. Depending on the season the amount of water that falls is from 100 to 400 m³ per second. The waterfall and the forest are very old and unique and therefore a protected nature reserve. An island devides the waterfall in two parts. On the island is a cave that can be visited in the winter when the waterfall is frozen. The cave is about 20 meters long and has two entrances.
