"Stopover on the journey from south to north - Very simple pitch by the forest with a very friendly welcome. The small site is characterized by the nearby forest location on a slope. You can start good hikes from here. The sanitary facilities are clean and look new. There are no shopping facilities. It is possible to eat in the restaurant, but please call in advance. The 20 pitches are wheelchair spaces with electricity. All okay for one night!

"Beautiful little place in the Thuringian Forest - We felt very comfortable on the pitch. Unfortunately, the area is not well suited for cycling tours. Most of the cycle paths consist of rough gravel, which is very unpleasant when the path is steep and winding. Hiking is great, cycling is stupid. The outdoor pool nearby is also good. Unfortunately it's only open from 10 am, not for early swimmers. Apart from that, there's not much else going on in the area, just good hiking. The huts and inns are not always open, so you can sometimes find yourself standing in front of a closed door in the middle of the week or on a Friday.

"Great little place - A small, fine site in the countryside. There is also a bungalow camp. The campsite has everything you need. It's not big, which I really like. Nice operators! Toilets are clean and showering requires shower tokens. WLAN is available and there was sufficient reception on my pitch. A very nice swimming pool is right next to the campsite. A bakery is also within easy reach. You can be there in a minute by bike. On foot in about 10 minutes. It is exactly 1 km. You can go shopping in Schleusingen. You can also get there quickly by bike. It is also only 5km. The site is also suitable for dog owners. Beautiful surroundings for walking or cycling. The restaurant on the site is good value and good. I was satisfied and will be back.

Profile

Wir verfügen über 15 Standplätze für Caravans und Wohnmobile und Platz für Zelte, mit Stromanschluß. Für alle Standplätze gemeinsam, gibt es eine zentrale Trinkwasseranlage sowie einen Spülplatz. Selbstverständlich verfügt unser Campingplatz auch über Stellplätze für Dauercamping. Falls Sie gute Gesellschaft …und freundliche Nachbarn schätzen, nehmen wir Ihre Anfrage gerne entgegen. In unserem Bungalowdorf finden Sie 20 wohnliche und zweckmäßig eingerichtete Bungalows. Die gesamte Anlage liegt in einem Tal am Hang mit Terrassen auf denen die Bungalows stehen. Hierdurch haben Sie einen schönen Ausblick in die umliegende Natur und den Wald. In erster Linie erwartet Sie hier die Ruhe und das Gefühl einer gewissen Abgeschiedenheit. Unmittelbar vor unserer Türe wandern Sie los - in den Thüringer Wald - in das Biosphärenreservat Vessertal, - ohne Straßen passieren zu müssen, ab in die Natur. Wald, Wild, Natur - alles das können Sie erleben. Ebenfalls unmittelbar vor unserer Anlage befindet sich das Waldbad Erlau. Ein attraktives Freibad der Stadt / Gemeinde. In den Sommermonaten ein Ziel zum chillen, Spaß haben und abkühlen. Alle Bungalows sind mit Dusche, WC und Fernsehen, zum größten Teil mit Kabelfernsehen sowie einer überdachten Terrasse ausgestattet. In allen gibt es eine Küche bzw. Kochgelegenheit und ein gemütliches Wohn-/ Schlafzimmer. Unsere Bungalows haben eine Grundfläche von 25 bis 70 m² und können 2 bis 6 Personen beherbergen. Je nach Bungalowgröße sind 1 bis 3 Schlafzimmer mit je 2 Schlafgelegenheiten vorhanden. Auch im Winter haben wir geöffnet und Sie können eine idylische, märchenhafte Schneelandschaft vorfinden. Wir haben das ganze Jahr für Sie geöffnet. Umfangreiche Wintersportgelegenheiten sind mit dem Auto schnell erreicht und schöne Wanderwege finden Sie direkt vor Ihrer Türe. Unsere Anlage verfügt über eine eigene Gaststätte die von unseren Gästen aber auch von den Einwohnern der Umgebung gerne besucht wird. Á la Carte bieten wir Ihnen einfache, schmackhafte Gerichte. Nach Vorbestellung bieten wir Ihnen frische Brötchen oder auch Frühstück an.

Beachten Sie daher bitte die folgenden Erklärungen zur Anfahrt oder / und benutzen Sie …die Koordinaten zur Eingabe in Ihr Navigationssystem. 50°32'48.8"N 10°45'23.6"E Aus Bayern: Bei Bamberg auf die B4 Richtung Coburg bis Schleusingen. Dann B 247 Richtung Suhl, in Erlau 50 m vor Ortsende rechts durch eine Bahnunterführung. Nach 200 m erreichen Sie den Campingplatz. Über Würzburg: A71 bis Dreieck Suhl, dann auf die A73 Richtung Coburg abbiegen bis zur Ausfahrt Suhl/Friedberg - nach verlassen der A 73 nach rechts auf die B 247 Richtung Hirschbach/Erlau - 50 m nach dem Ortseingang Erlau links abbiegen, durch eine Bahnunterführung fahren und dahinter die zweite Straße rechts hoch (Am Waldbad). Sie fahren dann direkt auf unsere Rezeption zu. Aus dem restlichen Bundesgebiet: Auf der A 4 bis Kreuz Erfurt, dort auf die A 73 Richtung Suhl/Schweinfurt abbiegen - ca. 58 km bis Dreieck Suhl , dann auf die A73 Richtung Coburg abbiegen bis zur Ausfahrt Suhl/Friedberg - nach verlassen der A 73 nach rechts auf die B 247 Richtung Hirschbach/Erlau - 50 m nach dem Ortseingang Erlau links abbiegen, durch eine Bahnunterführung fahren und dahinter die zweite Straße rechts hoch (Am Waldbad). Sie fahren dann direkt auf unsere Rezeption zu.
