"Sommerurlaub 2023 - Mitten im Hochsommer, wo auf allen anderen Plätzen ringsum mehr als voll war, haben wir hier ganz unkompliziert einen Platz mit dem Camper bekommen. Unseren Stellplatz konnten wir uns auf der Wiese selber suchen und auch wenn wir Strom benötigt hätten, wäre das irgendwie möglich gemacht worden. Die Betreiber sind super freundlich, machen alles möglich, erinnern dich auch daran, dass du am nächsten Morgen vielleicht auch Brötchen möchtest... ;-) Insgesamt auf jeden Fall die bessere Alternative zu den Plätzen auf der anderen Seeseite.

"Was für ein Platz! - So herzlich wurde ich bisher selten begrüßt! Wir waren mit dem Eriba und 2 Kindern hier. Der niederländische Betreiber ist überaus freundlich. Die Lage direkt am See in Terrassen ist fantastisch. Man stellt sich auf die Wiese an den See und schaut auf die Kirche von Leksand. Die Badestelle ist ein Traum und wenn man das Wasser verlässt schaut man auf die schönen hölzernen Mietunterkünfte. Der Platz ist nicht zu groß aber wegen der ständig wechselnden Touristen angenehm belebt. Man kommt schnell ins Gespräch weil das Ambiente so einladend ist. Einfach toll! Wir werden definitiv hier wieder aufschlagen.

"Echt schön und sehr Freundlich - Haben hier eine Nacht verbracht und muss sagen der Platz ist sehr schön. Es wird englisch, deutsch, und holländisch gesprochen und alles ist sehr sauber. Der Platz ist modern und jeder findet eine schöne Stelle für sich. Komme bestimmt wieder.

"Liebevoll betreuter und schöner Platz am Siljan - Nach 27 Jahren waren wir wieder auf Västanviks Badet. Ein neuer Betreiber und er hat viel positives bewirkt. Ein sehr schöner Platz mit sehr unterschiedlichen Stellplätzen. Terassen, Wiese, direkt am See oder etwas entfernt. Für jeden was dabei. Achtung, die Böschung von den Plätzen unten am See ist nicht ohne. Fahrzeug mit Traktion erforderlich. Sanitär zwar etwas älter aber top sauber. Der Platzbetreiber war super freundlich. Wir kommen gerne wieder, diesmal auch schneller. Absolute Empfehlung.

"Schöner kleiner Campingplatz am Siljansee - Ein kleiner Campingplatz in dieser Region ist eher die Ausnahme und gerade auch darum sehr empfehlenswert. Außerdem liegt er direkt am See mit toller Aussicht. Oberhalb des Campingplatz läuft zwar eine Straße entlang, doch diese hat uns nicht gestört, nachts absolut ruhig! Die Sanitärgebäude sind neu! Die Campingplatzleitung sehr freundliche und hilfsbereit. Die Region bietet reichlich Unternehmungsmöglichkeit rund um den Siljansee an

VästanviksbadetsCamping Leksand is located in the hart off the beautiful district Dalarna. The camping place lies direct at the popular Lake Siljan and we have our own beach and swimming place. Leksand and their surroundings give you a lot of …possibilities for an active and unforgettable holiday. Västanviksbadet has always been a swimming area even before it became a camping. In 1946 Västanviksbadet became a nice and cosy family camping. Since long a place where many guests like to return for their holidays. It is a place where many people come to, to relax and enjoy the nice surrounding with old fashion typical Swedish houses in Dalarna style. The camping lies about 4 kilometres outside of Leksand on the west side of Lake Siljan at the road to Siljansnäs and has an area of 10 acres. The camping is good situated to make many day trips around the lake. There is so much to see and explore that a few days stay is a must! Eye catching are the old Swedish timbered cottages. All 12 cottages are for rent. Did you ever think of sleeping in an about 300 years old cottage? Yes, they exist on this camping. Almost every building on this campground has a unique history and we hope to continue preserve this environment. So if you want to go back in time, enjoy and relax you have come to the right place. Soon you will not want to go back to the stress of today!

The camping lies 4 kilometres west from Leksand on the …road to Siljansnäs. From Mora: Follow the RV 70 to Borlänge. Take the first exit to the right “Leksand Centrum” directly after the Statoil petrol station. Drive through town over the bridge and follow the road signs “Siljansnäs/Sölleron”. Or: On the RV 70 take the exit “Leksand S” and follow the road signs to “Siljansnäs/Sölleron”. The camping lies 4 kilometres west from Leksand on the road to Siljansnäs.
