Top Campground
Great campground, very friendly staff (the girls) at the front desk, which also has a little shop 👍. The restaurant is fantastic, and the waitstaff are also very friendly and on the ball. We'll be back 👍.

I think the T campsite is great. It is recommended for families with children but also without children.

Very nice, modern and well-kept campsite. The staff are very friendly and courteous. The restaurant is also to be recommended, everything was very tasty. The price-performance ratio is very good.

The sanitary facilities are nicely laid out. Individual closed toilets are great. All campsites should do this. Restaurant is good. Beautiful hiking trails from the site. The Gnadenhof is a great thing.

The cleaning of the sanitary facilities should take place much more often. Some of the water in the lower showers no longer drained as everything was full of hair. Toilet paper was hardly ever available. Always empty. No bathing area for dogs. Poop bag dispenser was empty on the 2nd evening and was not refilled the whole stay.
Camping in the Bavarian Forest
The campsite itself is beautifully situated. The entrance should be made more visible as it is hard to see due to the bushes. There is no bathing area for dogs. The small trail in the forest should be mentioned on the website. This will please some cyclists. It should also be mentioned that it is very... steep. Particularly difficult for older people. The sanitary facilities are really very nicely done. Only the cleanliness should be improved. Especially more toilet paper in the small additional bathrooms. There are also no towels to dry your hands. The bathrooms are also only used for going to the toilet, not always for showering.

Very beautiful grounds of a former golf course. Super friendly staff! Lots of space, everything new and very stylish and very clean. The investor has invested here with great attention to detail and has always kept the needs of his clientele in mind and implemented them well. We are already looking forward... to the upcoming investments in the wellness area! We should also mention the good cooperation with the Garhammer fashion store. Great service with transportation to the fashion store and back! No problem even with a dog. That's how win - win works.

Unforgettable maypole weekend in the Bavarian Forest!
We stayed at the Camping Bayerwald Resort for three nights and were absolutely thrilled. It was our first visit, but definitely not our last!
Our highlights:
Location: The site is wonderfully nestled between forests - pure nature and perfect peace and quiet to switch off.
Children's program: There's... a lot on offer for the kids here. Boredom? Not a chance!
Maypole event: The absolute highlight of our stay were the events around the maypole. A great atmosphere and super organized.
Hospitality:
We particularly remember the nice and very pleasant conversation with the owner Rainer. Of course, we couldn't miss out on a cool Maibock - that's how you imagine Bavarian hospitality!
Conclusion:
It was an all-round successful and relaxing long weekend. We felt very comfortable and will definitely be back!

Camping with a motorhome
We spent these three days on an outstanding site, the weekend program with Walpurgis Night was just great, as was everything on the site.
The artificial swimming pond invites you to refresh or swim, also fun for the kids, the playground with the small pond, the petting zoo, is ideal for the kids.
The restaurant also leaves nothing to be desired.
The food was large and delicious
Keep up the good work, we have already booked again.

The place is an absolute recommendation! Great and friendly staff! Super infrastructure!
The restaurant is an absolute highlight, top quality and perfect value for money.
The petting zoo and the adventure playground are great for families with children.
The wash house is new, modern and very clean. There... is a dog shower and washing facilities.
There are cozy sleeping barrels available for rent.
This was definitely not our last stay and we would love to come back!!! @stockbettcamping

We spent our vacation here over Christmas and New Year's Eve.
The welcome at reception was much more cordial than you get at other campsites. The pitch allocated to us was very large and met our expectations perfectly. We had also rented a private bathroom. This exceeded everything... we had seen before. It was huge, super modern, superbly equipped and wonderfully warm and heated due to the outside temperatures. It was our own little private spa. The pictures speak for themselves.
The sanitary building, which is available to all campers, is also of the highest standard. Super clean, top modern.
The restaurant offers a breakfast buffet in the morning, which you can book in addition. This buffet is better than in some 5* hotels. A reservation in advance is recommended.
The restaurant is also recommended in the evening. The price-performance ratio is top.
Last but not least, we would like to thank Rainer (owner) and his team for this unforgettable vacation. We enjoyed your passion, the program you put together and the family atmosphere so much that we booked again on the spot. We are already looking forward to seeing you again at Christmas time.

We were totally impressed by the good service and the friendliness we encountered at every turn.
If we had any queries, they always went out of their way to help us and find a solution. We have never experienced this in this way before.

On New Year's Eve, there was a little schnapps for the adults and... jelly babies for the children, distributed around the campsite. Such things have become rare, so it's all the more gratifying when you feel that you're taking care of your guests and appreciating them. That certainly came across to us.

There are numerous ways to spend your time in the surrounding area: Walking, hiking, cycling, excursions to Waldkirchen or Passau, there really is a lot to see.

We went to the restaurant a few times during our camping stay: for breakfast, in the afternoon for coffee/tea with strudel and for dinner.

Breakfast buffet by reservation: the selection was fantastic, we didn't manage to try everything on offer. Drinks are included in the price, which we thought was really great. The staff made every effort to replenish all the dishes quickly, which worked well despite the restaurant being full. I think a short, manageable waiting time for fresh food is absolutely acceptable.

Dinner: we had booked in advance as the campsite was full. The food took a while and TO GO dishes also had to be prepared. The food was very tasty, sufficient and we didn't need a starter or dessert to feel full.
We had cheese noodles, pizza and schnitzel. The following evening we all had pizza again, which we can really recommend.

Wash house: Like the mobile wash houses with WC and shower, it was always clean, despite being fully booked. The privacy in the wash cabins is very pleasant as they are closed.

We have already booked for the current year during our stay, we would love to come back.

Super friendly staff and also the owner. Beautiful pitches with electricity and water connections, even in winter. Totally great wash house with huge showers. The food at Sepp is very tasty and the portions are large. There is also plenty on offer for children. And they are still expanding and building a spa.

In winter, the paths to the pitches are rather steep, so you have to be careful.
Absolutely recommended!
The place is an absolute recommendation. From the friendliness to the well-equipped pitches, the Sepp is a must to eat and enjoy. The existing wash house is the best I have seen so far.
Try out the campsite and be as enthusiastic as we are!

Weekend stay
The campsite is an absolute diamond in the rough and when it is completely finished it will be a jewel in this area. a lot of thought has been put into the design of this site.
The wash building is very tastefully designed and clean. Large showers with washbasins and sockets where you can get ready in... one room, washing machine and dryer are of course also available as well as a dog shower.
Children big and small have a small petting zoo and a very nice playground at their disposal.
The restaurant on the campsite is great value for money and the food is simply delicious.
There will probably be another wellness house with all the trimmings in the near future, but that will also be needed when all the pitches are ready, then one sanitary building will no longer be enough.
Nearby there is everything you need stores supermarkets DM everything.
Great area for leisure activities, culture etc.
We will come again absolutely recommendable!!!
Very importantly, all the staff are super nice!

I really enjoyed my stay at the Camping-Restaurant Bayerwald! Everything was well looked after - the shower house and sanitary facilities are modern and clean, the restaurant offers delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. The whole area is beautifully laid out and you just feel at home. I would love to come back - absolutely recommendable

Campsite and surroundings great. Sanitary facilities great. Playground with large covered sandpit great for the little ones. Great play equipment for the older ones. Negative: The ponies lie in their own manure. Restaurant: unfriendly waitress who asked... everyone in the beer garden to sit in the shade so she didn't have to walk so far. As we had already ordered, we got thick jackets and hats. Then we got pizza which tasted better from the freezer. The two burgers were bloody and cold on the inside.
