We had it by hearsay, and all expectations were met! Clear information in advance through the online reservation system, friendly reception, spacious pitch that we could choose ourselves.... Our children made friends here and we had fun on the petanque. We are pleased to hear that you are happy with the price, location, spacious pitches with facilities and our friendly, flexible staff. The cleaning of our sanitary facilities is also... taken seriously by our team, so it's good to know that this is being noticed. We regret that there were some things that did not meet your expectations. We would like to explain a few points and let you know how we are dealing with them: Toilet paper: we understand that the lack of toilet paper can cause inconvenience. This is a conscious decision to avoid waste and blockages. However, we ensure that this is communicated to our guests in advance. Shower facilities: Of the three sanitary buildings, two have showers. This is always communicated to our guests when they make their reservation so that they can choose their pitch with this information in mind. Speed of cars on the campsite: Safety is our top priority. We thank you for your feedback and will take additional measures to ensure that all campers, including permanent guests, adhere to the speed limits to ensure everyone's safety. Friendly and helpful staff and well maintained. In corona times we appreciate the clean sanitary facilities even more. With the good weather it was very nice to be on the beach so quickly. (Having already visited 3-4 other campsites)
This was not too bad for us, the best campsite in Bredene.
To be honest, I don't understand the comments below, very unfair!
The campsite is 300m from the beach, large pitches, quiet and clean sanitary facilities. The owners and staff are very friendly and happy to help.

Unfortunately, this didn't happen: the pitches are small and you're surrounded by mobile homes. So there is no camping feeling.
Even if the site as a whole seems well-kept, sanitary facilities that are only cleaned once a day on such... a full site - that's not possible. No soap, no toilet paper, no towels for drying off. To wash your hands after using the toilet, you would have to use the washbasins in the individual wash cubicles or the tap in the baby bath, which many people do. I don't want to bathe my baby there! Disinfectant is available at the door and the bottle is empty by the afternoon.
The beach and the dunes are great. However, face masks are compulsory at the moment, even when walking and cycling.

It offers beautiful beaches and the opportunity for children to swim in the sea. Unfortunately, we were misled by the operator's website when looking for a campsite. Wir legen großen Wert auf Sauberkeit, besonders in Zeiten der Korona.
Wir bedauern, dass Sie es nicht auf diese Weise erlebt haben.
Wir reinigen die Sanitärgebäude mehrmals täglich und jedes Mal, wenn wir einen Bericht erhalten,... dass eine zusätzliche Reinigung erforderlich ist.
Wir haben uns auch gefragt, wie Sie den Rest unseres Campingplatzes erlebt haben. Die Freundlichkeit, die Sie als positiv empfunden haben, bedeutet, dass Sie erfahren haben, dass wir immer bereit sind, alle Fragen und Kommentare unserer Gäste zu beantworten. Die Ruhe und die Infrastruktur werden für Sie unterschätzt, gleichzeitig sind sie aber auch einer der Trümpfe des Familiencampingplatzes.
Wir haben keinen Laden, da sie oft zu Fuß im Zentrum von Bredene zu erreichen sind.

Our pitch was flat and big enough with a hedge to the next row on one side and bordered by the road on the other. The sanitary facilities were ok, what... always irritates us is that you have to take your own toilet paper everywhere, but you get used to that. The showers are also big enough and the time of a shower token is also sufficient for women, even with hair washing. In the high season, the site is still relatively quiet, the beach can be reached in about 10 minutes via a bridge over the main coastal road and after crossing a double dune, which was no problem at all for us. The beach itself is fantastic, hugely wide, even at high tide, at low tide the water only goes back about 200m, the sand can easily keep up with the Baltic Sea sand, just great. We felt very comfortable here and will avoid the overcrowded, overpriced Baltic Sea in future and come here again.
