Ambience and quality are outstanding here !!!Negativno- Electricity price is too high, as with many places.For us, one of the best places in GermanyWe (a couple) spent 2 wonderful weeks at Camping Resort Bodenmais and were thrilled.
The pitches are of different sizes, very well maintained and equipped with all connections (electricity, water, waste water, TV).
The sanitary and wellness areas set standards in terms of cleanliness, facilities and ambience.

The barrier opens automatically with license plate recognition. Reception was very friendly and courteous. An Activecard is handed out with which 130 activities in the region can be used... free of charge.
Great pitch with water, waste water and electricity. All pitches are equipped with grass pavers so that caravans/motorhomes stay clean.
The site has a very modern sanitary building, which was always clean. The sky pool is absolutely amazing and the sauna area is also really great!
The restaurant and bar on the campsite are highly recommended. The breakfast buffet also leaves nothing to be desired. (only with advance reservation!)
Conclusion: A really great place that calls itself a resort. Great surroundings for hiking and mountain biking.

We have been there several times a year for short or long stays since it opened and can rate the place.
And yes, this service and luxury comes at a price. But it is worth it.

Overall, there is no pleasant true camping feeling. The store is moderately equipped. Not a classic store for a campsite. But you can get everything in the village. We didn't go to the restaurant.... Nevertheless, the campsite is clean, has a nice green area next to the pitch and all the necessary connections.
The playhouse and the playground are well maintained and great for children. really high praise.
We also made extensive use of the activity card, as the tourist tax is steep enough and you have to take everything you can with you.
On departure, we were in for a second rip-off surprise. The kWh price of no less than 95 cents. Even at the height of electricity prices, I didn't pay 95 cents. The customer is really ripped off again on the last day. There were more than enough rental... bathrooms 🛁 and I was particularly impressed with the disabled facilities, which were some of the best I've ever seen in Germany. The sanitary facilities were fully accessible by elevator! 🚻♿
The reception area resembled that of a luxury spa hotel and the staff were incredibly friendly and courteous 👩💼👨💼. Not to mention the restaurant with its excellent cuisine 🍽️🍷. The taste and presentation of the dishes were simply outstanding!
