The showers and toilets are clean. Bread and rolls are available at the campsite, shopping in the supermarket nearby. You can walk into the town of Bolsena. I was surprised about the waste disposal. Every morning from 8:30-10:30 you could drop off your garbage. A man took the garbage and separated it. In the high season it is probably much more crowded here as the pitches are rather small. The access to the site is very narrow and a bit adventurous. The site is located directly on the lake with its own small beach.... The sanitary facilities are very spacious and fairly new. The only thing is that you can't regulate the water temperature in the showers yourself, so you have to take what comes. The store on site is adequate, the restaurant is good. The staff are extremely friendly. Bolsena is a great walk along the lake.Automaticky preložené.

Great excursion destinations in the surrounding area.
Sanitary: no toilet paper or hand dryer, no urinals and toilet seats (men). cramped.... Would be easy to improve...
Not far into town by bike, but dangerously unlit at night and no cycle path on the road.
Groundsman constantly at work with a "diesel car" (fixed service times and electric motor would be better).

The small pool has a shady sunbathing area. Bolsano is within walking distance.
You should book in advance for the restaurant.
The supermarket is only stocked with the essentials.
The reception was very friendly.

We felt very comfortable, as both the campsite and Lake Bolsena were wonderfully relaxing.
The sanitary facilities are functional, not much luxury, but everything you need and were always clean.
The pitches vary, but we... had booked and got a really big shady pitch. What we liked is that not everything is planned and there is plenty of space for the general public in the beach area, for example. Some other campsites would have made 5 'expensive' pitches out of this.
Small store available. Supermarket very close by.
Great area (Bolsena surprised us with a great town festival and is still within walking distance along the beach) and not yet so overcrowded.
The restaurant on site was also ok, not gourmet cuisine of course.
Nice staff everywhere.

Restaurant or pizzeria unfortunately only open in the evening, but then price performance good. By car minutes to Bolsena "City" -... nice little place. The new sanitary facilities in the upper area (near the road) are actually quite good. But no toilet seats are actually a nogo for me and inexplicable. The showers are ok, but a bit too cold for me. The lower sanitary facilities near the lake and the restaurant are a disaster. You can't even take your things into the shower. The toilets have no toilet seats and no paper. In my opinion, you can only tear it down. The pool right on the street looks very neat - but I preferred the lake. Oh, the road didn't really bother us, despite the fact that we were in the upper area. It is there, but not a highway. Perhaps not ideal for those looking for absolute peace and quiet. In heavy rain we were shown the best places that were not yet so damp. Nice staff. The ground is grass on every pitch, which is wet or almost under water in bad weather. Lake right next door. The town can be reached in 20 minutes on foot via a sandy path along... the lake. Few tourists in the camp and in the town. One sanitary building brand new and heated in cold weather. The sanitary facilities could not be used because the dirt from the winter had not yet been removed. - Heike F.July 2011PozitívneA place to feel at home, lots of things to see in the surrounding areaNegatívneRenovate the sanitary facilities.Again and again!We have loved Lake Bolsena and the many opportunities to explore the surrounding area for around 20 years. After we got fed up with the neighboring site (pimped-up sanitary building, but only cold water for brushing teeth, lousy restaurant, tiny pitches, and finally trouble with a site sheriff because... we could only park our car on the neighboring plot with the best will in the world, note, we had paid for a car on the site), we discovered Camping Blu for ourselves. Yes, the sanitary facilities needed it... but the location, the friendliness, especially the restaurant (Antipasto di Lago...) easily make up for it. I used the pool every day on my last visit and found it well-maintained and clean - its location among the olive trees was fantastic, where my book, my little chair and I had a wonderful place to stay. We'll be back again soon. By the way: an affordable campsite even without an ACSI cardAutomaticky preložené.
