Food and drink are well catered for: a kiosk with a bread roll service offers everything you need for a relaxed breakfast, and the on-site restaurant serves excellent cuisine.

Clean and well-equipped sanitary blocks. Fair pricingNegativnoPoor WiFi coverage at the Rur pitches, in our case not usable. Alternative, private hotspot at busy network times also only possible to a limited extent, at the pitch (in the valley) only LTE. Camperclean would be nice. Just suggestions. Our vacation was in no way diminished by this.Wonderful first camping vacation with your own caravanOur very first camping vacation with our own caravan. We felt very comfortable and in good hands. The staff were absolutely friendly and welcoming.
As we were a bit awkward with one or two things, we were glad that the staff were on hand to help and advise us.
Even a small repair to the jockey wheel... was repaired on site free of charge and immediately.
We have rarely experienced such friendly and competent staff.
We also really liked the surrounding area. Excursion destinations and hiking trails are in the immediate vicinity or can be reached quickly by car.
We will definitely be back and can only recommend the site.
Especially the pitches on the Rur are wonderfully idyllic with a great view of Nideggen Castle. We are very happy that we discovered this idyllic place for ourselves and feel very comfortable every time we stay there. There is a family atmosphere, everyone is on first-name terms and... the staff are all very friendly, courteous and helpful. The sauna is absolutely amazing and we really enjoyed using it. You can really switch off from everyday life here. We always like to come back and immediately feel a little bit at home. It's great that you exist, dear Hetzinger.........

We are glad to hear that you appreciate the beautiful residential barrels on the Rur and the restaurant "Hetzinger Stüffgen". We are pleased that you have been coming to us for more than 20 years... and that you have noticed the improvements among us as new owners.
However, we are also disappointed with the points you mentioned, especially regarding the general cleaning (3/5) and the friendliness of our staff(4/5). These are important aspects for us and we will discuss this internally to ensure that we can offer our guests the best possible experience.
Regarding the safety issue with the vaulting tile; we appreciate your feedback and understand that this is important. We will contact the municipality to bring this issue to their attention.
